NIGHT HYGIENE OPERATIVE
BASED WREXHAM
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Sunday- Thursday (8pm to 5am).
Role
As a Nights Hygiene Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the manufacturing environment is kept impeccably clean and hygienic in line with food safety regulations. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to engage with different departments to maintain hygiene compliance.
* Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitation of equipment, production areas, and facilities during night shifts
* Ensure hygiene procedures comply with internal policies and external food safety standards
* Work collaboratively with Production, Technical, and Maintenance teams
* Identify and report any hygiene or safety non-conformances
* Confidently challenge poor practices and uphold hygiene standards
* Maintain hygiene documentation and records accurately and clearly
Candidate
* Previous experience in a hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment
* A passion for hygiene and a commitment to maintaining high standards
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* The confidence to liaise across departments and challenge where necessary
* A minimum Level 2 Food Safety qualification
* COSHH training (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
* A formal cleaning qualification is desirable

Salary: £28,500- £30,000
