Production Planner

Production Planner Key Responsibilities
* Develop efficient production schedules, ensuring effective utilisation of labour and equipment.
* Liaise closely with Purchasing and SOP teams to ensure all amendments are managed promptly, supporting 100% customer service levels.
* Ensure all production schedules comply with internal product specifications and technical standards.
* Provide operational support to the factory, ensuring all orders and amendments are processed accurately and communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders.
* Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels where required.
* Manage internal and external queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
* Attend daily planning meetings to review next-day production plans and labour requirements.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across internal systems.
Production Planner's Requirements
* Proven experience in a production planning role.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience within the food manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
* Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyse and manipulate data.
* Experience working with MRP systems (M3 preferred).
* Confident in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Flexible and willing to provide holiday and sickness cover where required.

* Hours of work: Shift One - 4am to 12pm Sunday and Monday, 8am to 4pm Tuesday to Thursday – Off Friday and Saturday or Shift Two – Thursday to Monday 9am to 5pm
