Personal Wellbeing Practitioner - Lincolnshire Action Trust ​ Lincoln and surrounding area ​ 37 hours per week ​ ​ Interviews to be held at Head Office in Lincoln - interviews expected to be held w/c 21/07/2025 ​ Our vision is of a world in which all individuals involved directly or indirectly with the criminal justice system are treated with respect, have equity of opportunity and are empowered to achieve their full potential. As part of our growth plan and our ongoing commitment to developing responsive services in the region, we are looking for a new practitioner to join our Personal Wellbeing team. You will be able to show: your ability to help, support, motivate and build rapport with others at all levels using your excellent interpersonal skills your organised and solution focused approach you are comfortable as part of a team but able to work independently too an ability to record data quickly and accurately using your proven IT skills ​ You may also have: experience of other well-being related services such as family support, lifestyles, emotional well being experience of individual needs assessment and action plans delivering 1:1 or group interventions personal experience of the criminal justice system and / or experience of working within the criminal justice sector You will be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, have a high regard for safety and wellbeing, be solution focused, tenacious and empowering in your approach, and work tirelessly to achieve the best outcomes with clients. ​ We would also like to think that you are passionate about our five core values and can demonstrate this: ​ Achievement – Empowerment - Inspiration – Quality – Respect ​ Moreover, safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and equity of opportunity are important to us and we would like to believe that they are just as important to you. We will expect all candidates to demonstrate knowledge in these areas. ​ Candidates will have the right to work in the UK; a full, valid car licence will be required and access to a vehicle including insurance for business use, to be able to travel throughout the area. ​ A relevant qualification at Level 3 or 4 (e.g. Information, Advice and Guidance) will be required, or the ability to demonstrate prior equivalent experience at this level. ​ Our Benefits a friendly and rewarding work environment a competitive salary £27,615 (full time 37 hours) for those with a relevant NVQ4 or equivalent A trainee salary scale is also available £23,492 (37 hours), and a (relevant) Level 3 qualified scale of £24,399 a 6% employer pension contribution a minimum of 33 days annual leave per year (pro rata for part time) including statutory holidays, increasing to by one day per full year of service to a maximum of 38 days holiday buy back scheme access to a non-contributory cash back health scheme and well-being service access to a reward gateway payment of mileage expenses as HMRC current rate ongoing commitment to training and development We aim at all times to attain best safeguarding practice throughout all of our Services. ​ The post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check with adult barred list and prison vetting. ​ A bit about us Lincolnshire Action Trust (LAT) is a registered charity that works with individuals who are in contact with the criminal justice system across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. The main focus of our work is resettlement and rehabilitation including employability, accommodation, finance and debt and work with children and families.
