Programme Assurance Manager – KPMG – Consulting

Leadership & Management: Manage multiple engagements simultaneously for a dedicated Senior Manager and/or Director. Lead and develop junior team members around IPA.
Stakeholder Interaction & Challenges: Engage with senior stakeholders (e.g., Programme Directors, CFOs) and articulate risks and recommendations effectively. Collaborate with internal teams to secure resources and deliver work.
Impact, Risk, Accountability & Governance: Contribute to risk management activities on large, multi-year, multimillion-pound engagements. Adhere to all KPMG risk processes, especially given the high-risk nature of IPA work.
What will you be doing?
* Understand end-to-end business transformation ERP programmes, including challenges and assurance requirements.
* Review critical workstreams like PMO, business change, architecture, testing, data, and transition, leading focused reviews.
* Identify key risks throughout the programme lifecycle and recommend mitigations.
* Translate observations into risks with clear impacts and practical recommendations.
* Manage multiple IPA activities (stage gates, deep dives) and coordinate with other assurance activities, communicating effectively with internal QA teams.
Lead junior team members to produce high-quality outputs under pressure, such as health checks, stage gate reviews, and readiness assessments.
