An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a privately owned business with an established presence across Norfolk.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, this role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, planning and analysis. It will suit someone who is comfortable producing accurate financial information, but also interested in supporting wider business performance through meaningful insight.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting schedules
* Budgeting and forecasting, including detailed variance analysis
* Monitoring cash flow and supporting forward planning
* Maintaining and reviewing detailed budgets and performance tracking
* Supporting statutory compliance requirements, including VAT and reporting obligations
* Assisting with year-end processes and audit requirements
* Developing and enhancing internal reporting to support decision-making
* Liaising with internal stakeholders to provide clear financial information
This role sits within a collaborative finance function, where accurate reporting and clear communication are both valued.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Experience within a management accounting role, with full month-end exposure
* Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
* The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Clear and professional communication skills
