This is an amazing opportunity for a Buying Admin Assistant who is looking for a new and exciting role and who enjoys an ambitious, fast paced and rewarding environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for raising POs and systematic PO maintenance.
* Daily supplier communication, including VC’s. Maintaining regular communication lines with them to tackle issues in a timely manner. To escalate issues as necessary to the Buying Manager.
* Involvement in seasonal product range reviews, assisting with updates and organisation of samples.
* To ensure that all product range plans are correctly maintained on the system in line with departmental deadlines.
* Responsible for the maintenance of departmental sheets, including Excel and Power Point based sheets.
* Maintain accurate product and supplier information data in internal systems.
* Co-ordinate with production team to manage product launches and ensure Buying team are kept up to date.
* Ad hoc reporting and production of information to meet the requirements of the business.
* Conduct competitor and market research.
* Supporting the day to day running of the Buying department.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in a retail fashion environment is advantageous, but not essential.
* Strong Excel & Power Point skills, or a willingness to learn.
* Attention to detail is key in this role, the successful candidate must be organised and accurate.
* Ability to work under pressure
* Candidate must be proactive, self-motivated and able to manage their time effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work across teams
* Strong numerical skills and the ability to analyse data
