Salary: £16.60 per hour Residential Children's Home Support Worker/ £17.60 per hour Team Leader (INCLUSIVE OF SLEEP RATE)
Hours: Full-time, shift-based (including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)

We are currently seeking compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Residential Support Workers and experienced team leaders to join our growing team. This is a rewarding role where you will make a meaningful difference in a young person's life every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Working as a valued member of leading a team, having a clear understanding of the children's care home standards and regulations, you will enhance the children's psychological recovery by being a positive role model and offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people. The aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional care, and development of our young people in a safe and caring environment.
* Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in line with their individual care plans
* Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment
* Support young people with daily routines including education, health appointments, leisure activities, and family contact
* Encourage and promote positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and independence
* Maintain accurate records, reports and contribute to care planning and reviews
* Work collaboratively with social workers, schools, therapists, and other professionals
* Participate in activities, outings, and holidays with the young people
* Support the home in maintaining a "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted rating
* Attend training and complete mandatory qualifications, including the level 4 apprenticeship in Residential Childcare (if not already held)
Requirements
Essential:
* Must be aged 21 or above
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people
* Ability to build strong, trusting relationships and set appropriate boundaries
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
* Right to work in the UK
* Full UK manual driving licence
Desirable:
* Level 4 Apprenticeship in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in residential childcare or similar care/support environment
* Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and child development
