Senior Field Service Engineer
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to join a specialist rail engineering company providing depot maintenance services across the UK rail network.

Package offered for this Senior Field Service Engineer role:
1. Salary: £43,447 per annum
2. Location: Nationwide
3. Benefits: Company van and fuel card, overtime available most weeks, on-call rota 1 in 14, with on-call payment, Travel, accommodation, and subsistence covered when working away from home, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Key responsibilities for this Senior Field Service Engineer role:
4. Lead depot maintenance, servicing, and repairs on electrical and mechanical rail equipment
5. Provide expert troubleshooting, diagnostics, and fault resolution across multiple sites
6. Mentor and support junior engineers in day-to-day tasks and technical development
7. Complete and review job documentation using mobile technology, ensuring compliance and accuracy
8. Maintain excellent communication with clients, project managers, and service office teams
9. Travel extensively to depot locations across the Midlands and South, including working away from home with overnight stays when required
10. Ensure all work meets rail industry standards and health and safety requirements
