Responsibilities
The Occupational Health Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of occupational health services for a prestigious client within the automotive manufacturing sector. This is a predominantly management-focused role, providing leadership, clinical supervision, and line management to an on‑site, multi‑disciplinary clinical team.
The role requires proven experience in managing complex health surveillance programmes, overseeing service delivery, and ensuring consistently high clinical standards. While the primary focus is on leadership and performance management, the OH Manager will also provide ad hoc case management and expert clinical input for complex or high‑risk cases as required.
Working closely with senior client stakeholders, the OH Manager will build strong partnerships to deliver agreed occupational health and wellbeing objectives. The role includes monitoring performance against benchmarked targets, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring services are compliant with evidence‑based practice, legislative requirements, and clinical governance standards.
