Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of 5 practitioners in the Baby Room.
* Act as a key person to a small group of babies (3–24 months) and build positive relationships with their families.
* Monitor babies’ progress and ensure developmental milestones are met.
* Plan and deliver engaging activities to support learning and development.
* Support babies in becoming more independent and prepare them for transition into the Toddler Room (24–36 months).
* Promote the health, wellbeing, and safety of all children.
* Ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
* Report on babies’ growth, development, and progress.
Salary: Depends on experience and qualification
Requirements
* Level 3 early years and childcare qualification (Childcare / Early Childhood).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Baby Room in a nursery or early years setting.
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
* Willingness to develop leadership skills and progress within the nursery.
