Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Planner with a proven track record in managing complex, large-scale developments and capable of signing off delegated reports.
* At least 5 years of experience in development management, with several years dealing with complex and strategic developments.
* Comprehensive understanding of current issues affecting planning, regeneration, and local government in London.
* Knowledge of central government and development plan policies.
* Understanding of planning legislation and related legislation, including local government legislation.
* General political awareness and understanding of local government operations.
Work is primarily from home, with occasional visits to the office or attendance at Committee meetings.
Minimum Requirements
* Local Authority experience: 2 years
* Development management experience: 5 years
* Principal Planner experience: 5 years
