We are seeking an experienced Solicitor, Litigation Executive or Litigation Handler to manage a caseload of litigated personal injury claims from issue through to resolution. This is a hands-on role requiring strong litigation experience, procedural confidence and the ability to run files independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of litigated personal injury matters
* Drafting and issuing proceedings, including Particulars of Claim
* Drafting Defences and Replies
* Preparing and responding to applications
* Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules and court directions
* Reviewing and analysing medical evidence, witness statements and expert reports
* Conducting liability and quantum assessments
* Negotiating settlements and advising clients throughout the litigation process
* Preparing cases for hearings and trial
* Instructing and liaising with Counsel and experts
* Maintaining accurate file management and regulatory compliance
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Litigation Executive, or experienced Litigation Handler
* Proven experience handling litigated personal injury claims
* Strong working knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures
* Experience drafting pleadings, applications and court documents
* Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience dealing with OIC/MOJ Portal exits
