Data Analyst - Ripon

A global manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. This is a brand-new role, ideal for a candidate skilled in establishing data processes and collaborating with various departments to consolidate data.
As the primary contact for all data-related matters, you will gather, process, and analyze data to support data-driven decision-making. Working across departments, you will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and meaningful interpretation to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
This role is on-site in Ripon.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and document current data processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
* Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation through data analysis.
* Collect and validate data from diverse sources.
* Communicate findings through reports and presentations.
* Perform ad-hoc analysis and respond to data-related requests from various departments.
Core Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years of experience in a similar analytics role
* Data analysis expertise
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Excel and SQL
* Desirable: Power BI, Tableau, Python
* Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and business analysis
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Excellent communication skills
* Relevant certifications are a plus
* Full driver's license and own vehicle are required
