Overview
We are seeking an experienced senior leader for our digital application analyst team. This team is dedicated to supporting and improving the Epic electronic health record and other clinical and administrative systems for the Trust. The role plays a critical role in the delivery of the Trust strategy through digital enablement, ensuring that the Trust continues to be a digital exemplar and leader.
Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the development, implementation, and optimisation of the Trust’s digital systems—including the Epic EPR—while ensuring high‑quality reporting, system resilience, and effective information services.
* Lead the creation of Trust‑wide digital policies, contribute to national and international digital health initiatives, and represent the organisation across external forums and partnerships.
* Manage major digital transformation programmes, including procurement, business case development, service redesign, and collaboration with external NHS sites to support their EPR implementations.
* Provide senior leadership to the eHospital team, ensuring strong performance, professional development, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Duties and Qualifications
The role requires in‑depth specialist knowledge of the Epic system (including certification) and experience with electronic patient records in the NHS. Demonstrated experience leading large teams to successfully deliver large‑scale change and maintenance of digital systems is essential.
