You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that prioritises professional development and well-being.As an Insurance Surveyor in our client's dedicated insurance reinstatement division, you'll manage all cost aspects and technical assessments of diverse reinstatement projects. Your expertise will ensure accurate scoping, efficient tendering, and the successful, timely delivery of works for both residential and commercial properties.
You'll collaborate closely with loss adjusters, insurance companies, contractors, and policyholders, ensuring projects adhere to policy coverage and building regulations. This role offers direct involvement in impactful projects that truly matter to clients.Key Responsibilities:Prepare precise cost estimates, budgets, and comprehensive tender documentation for diverse insurance reinstatement projects.Conduct thorough damage assessments and develop detailed scopes of work, strictly adhering to insurance policy coverage.Skilfully negotiate and agree upon final accounts with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring commercial viability.Act as a primary liaison with loss adjusters, policyholders, and insurers, maintaining clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.Proactively monitor project costs, providing regular performance reports against the budget and identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.Ensure all projects are delivered efficiently, within scope, and in full compliance with insurance protocols and relevant building regulations.Manage multiple concurrent projects effectively, demonstrating strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise.?Essential Requirements:Demonstrable and significant experience in insurance reinstatement, property restoration, or a similar construction specialism.In-depth understanding of building repair techniques, methodologies, and reinstatement scopes.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.Experience utilising estimating software such as Xactimate or CoreLogic is highly advantageous.Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced and project-driven environment.Full UK driving licence (essential for site visits across our client's service areas).?Ready to Make Your Next Career Move?If you are a driven Insurance Surveyor with a commitment to excellence in insurance reinstatement works, and you're ready to take on a pivotal role with a respected industry leader, we encourage you to apply.TPBN1_UKTJ
