Class 1 Tramper Driver| Part time| Burton on Trent Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and we are seeking an experienced Class 1 tramper driver to join our team and help us transport goods across the country during the day. THE SALARY £35,100 Annual Salary £50 Weekly Bonus £26.20 Standard night out allowance (per night) Overtime available KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Various HGV driving duties, including long-distance and multi-day runs, with regular nights out in the vehicle. Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, safe, and compliant with all legal requirements. Sleep in the cab during the working week where required, following company vehicle security and standing procedures at all times. Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office. Report any delivery issues, collection, or vehicle issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
