Chef de Partie (CDP) Hotel Restaurant - Christchurch We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our well‑established kitchen team in a busy hotel restaurant in Christchurch. The Role As a CDP, you'll be responsible for running your section efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene. You'll work as part of a supportive brigade in a fast‑paced but friendly environment. What We Offer Salary: £29,741 - £32,000 per annum (DOE) Tips: Approximately £250 - £400 per month, dependent on business levels Hours: 45 hours per week (contracted) Shifts: Mix of split shifts and straight shifts Typical split: 11am-3pm / 6pm-10pm Team Size: 8 chefs currently in the kitchen Covers: Weekdays: 50-80 covers per day Weekends: 120-300 covers per day Location: Hotel in Christchurch Live-in: Not available What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up Ability to work calmly under pressure during busy services Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Passion for fresh food and high standards Responsibilities Running your section during service Supporting junior chefs and working closely with senior chefs Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in your area Ensuring consistent food quality and presentation Assisting with prep and service as required Why Join Us?
