Job Overview
An exciting Deputy Charge Nurse opportunity has arisen in Fyvie Ward, Royal Cornhill Hospital. This is a permanent band 6 position of 37 hours per week (full time).
Responsibilities and Requirements
1. Support the Senior Charge Nurse in providing leadership to the nursing team in Adult Mental Health.
2. Provide evidence-based, person-centred care to patients experiencing acute mental health illness.
3. Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
4. Possess sound clinical knowledge and demonstrate enthusiasm for developing leadership skills.
5. Have an awareness of current drivers and legislation related to patient care in mental health nursing.
6. Hold an NMC registration and be committed to supporting the nursing team.
Ward Details
Fyvie Ward is an Acute Adult Mental Health ward caring for patients aged 18-65 from Aberdeen City and Central Shire.
