We are seeking a proactive and experienced Procurement Leader in the Gloucester area. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager/Team Leader, this role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, ensuring business requirements are met, and driving supplier performance improvements. Key Responsibilities Supplier Management Oversee a portfolio of suppliers to ensure business requirements are fulfilled. Participate in multi-site supplier business reviews with cross-functional teams. Work within a cross-functional team to manage successful supply chain work package transfers. Support the Supplier Performance Quality Leader (SPQL) in executing supplier performance strategies and initiatives. Manage internal stakeholder expectations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Order Book Management Analyse, process, confirm, and communicate supplier requirements. Review and update supplier schedules. Identify and implement solutions to address shortages. Negotiate deadlines and quantities with suppliers to meet business needs. Oversee manufacturing progress at supplier sites. Manage delivery receipts and returns. Issue Resolution & Performance Management Measure and analyse supplier performance in coordination with the SPQL. Develop and implement action plans for suppliers not meeting performance targets.
