* Create High-Level Designs (HLDs), models, and other architecture artefacts using tools such as ArchiMate or Sparx EA.
* Define and govern architecture blueprints, integration patterns, and solution building blocks across multiple technology domains.
* Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Test teams to ensure cohesive and scalable solution delivery.
* Lead and support cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Data, Integration) to ensure end-to-end delivery quality.
* Engage with external vendors and internal stakeholders to validate technical approaches and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
* Support project governance, service introduction, and data governance processes to ensure smooth transition into live operations.
Required Experience
* 5+ years’ experience as a Solutions Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
* Strong background in system integration architecture, APIs, middleware, and data flows across multiple platforms.
* Experience designing architectures using modelling languages (e.g. ArchiMate) and frameworks such as TOGAF.
* Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and modern microservices and API-led integration patterns.
* Knowledge of architecture building blocks, governance, and design assurance.
* Hands-on experience with architecture tools such as ArchiMate, Alfabet, Aris, or Sparx Enterprise Architect.
* Experience leading design across multiple stakeholders and disciplines.

* Knowledge of Data Architecture and Canonical Data Models.
* Familiarity with technologies such as MuleSoft, Software AG, SAP S/4, Salesforce, Witron, or KNAPP.
Why Join
* Work with one of the UK’s biggest retail brands during a major transformation period.
* Hybrid working model – 2–3 days onsite in Nottingham.
* Collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
* Scope for long-term extension as transformation projects evolve.
