We are currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our Escalator team, supporting exciting projects across the UK. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the scope, schedule, and budget of escalator installation, full replacement and modernisation projects. You will act as the primary KONE interface for customers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and project profitability. Key accountabilities at the role: Manage projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion at handover to customer and maintenance Responsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting and documentation Oversee site preparations and readiness, storage and logistics, and needed resources and tools Ensure compliance with KONE installation methods and conduct thorough risk assessments Lead and manage the team of engineers, including subcontractors, plan and ensure sufficient project resourcing and competences and team motivation Maintain proactive communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Promote and enforce safety and security awareness among employees and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to KONE and customer safety and security policies Skills and experience: Proven leadership and people management skills Strong customer and subcontractor relationship management Excellent planning and organising skills Good written and spoken English Excellent health and safety knowledge CSCS card, SMSTS, or SSSTS certifications are advantageous, but not mandatory Full UK driving licence Prior experience in escalator projects is beneficial; however, candidates with backgrounds in engineering or construction are encouraged to apply We offer a range of fantastic benefits: Excellent salary available depending on experience Annual bonus up to 20% Company car Private Medical Insurance Company Pension Scheme Prolonged disability insurance (PDI) KONE Healthcare plan and KONE dental plan Life Assurance Gym membership Employee Assistance Programme 25 Days Holiday 8 Bank Holidays 1 Volunteering Day KONE Discounts and cashback platform Give As You Earn, which allows to make tax-efficient charity donations Cycle to Work Scheme In addition, we offer strong and clear progression programmes so that you can reach your full potential.
