Annexe 21 Trainee B7 Epilepsy Clinical Nurse Specialist – Acute Services Medical Directorate offers an exciting opportunity to undertake a developmental training post to become an Epilepsy Clinical Nurse Specialist within NHS Fife Acute Services Medical Directorate. Annexe 21 (Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions) will apply until successful completion of the training programme. The post requires a postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice in order to attain the band 7 level.
Responsibilities
* Assessment, care planning, medical treatment management and evaluation of patient care.
* Support clinical delivery and service developments.
* Team working, high-level communication, critical analysis and problem‑solving.
* Apply clinical skills and knowledge to adults across the age span presenting with epilepsy and complex needs.
Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Evidence of continuing professional development with post registration qualification.
* Significant experience in Neurology, Stroke or Neuro‑rehabilitation practice.
* Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice (or required for band 7).
Additional Information
You will work in a multidisciplinary, partnership‑working environment. The post requires membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
