This is a full-time Occupational Therapist position specialising in Manual Handling in the charming coastal town of Lowestoft. Responsibilities
* Provide safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate.
* Support triage and reduce duplication between health and social care to minimise OT waiting lists.
* Assist external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks.
* Review care packages to ensure best value and utilisation of available equipment for Adult Social Care.
* Evaluate double-handed care packages for efficiency and safety.
* Offer mutual aid to other OT areas as needed.
* Conduct OT assessments and reviews across the directorate in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements
* Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the occupational therapy field.
* A car driver is preferable for ease of travel between sites.
