Within our European Buildings & Infrastructure Growth & Sales team, we have an immediate requirement for a Social Value Sales Professional that can help us articulate and define how our projects and organisation contributes to society. This role builds upon our work to date and will bring our enhancements and approach to life throughout our sales process and tender responses. Your enthusiasm for working as part of a driven and disciplined team, with a motivation to overcome hurdles and obstacles to find solutions is essential to be successful in Growth & Sales. What can you expect from the role As Social Value Sales Professional, you will be accountable for: * Embedding our social value approach within sales, articulating and defining our added value for UK clients and opportunities across the region * Developing winning social value offers, and authoring clearly defined thoughtful responses, developed with our commercial goals and wider business priorities * Managing the handover between sales and project delivery to ensure that projects are set up to succeed. * Evaluating feedback and trends to evolve our approach * Development and maintenance of supporting resources, knowledge management, training and tools designed to improve the sales and bidding process for social value * Working with sales teams to promote and define our social value capabilities and contribution * Supporting gathering evidence from across the business on our social value performance and initiatives Previous Social Value Sales experience for the UK Infrastructure market is desirable, along with a proven ability to produce Social Value procurement responses for large and/or complex projects. We are looking for an individual who has an ability to challenge and think strategically, and can inspire those around them through strong communication and leadership skills. * Ability to demonstrate client focus * Understand UK social value procurement models, evaluation tools and experience of sales and working winning in the UK infrastructure market * Understand the social value challenges facing our clients, have knowledge of social value solutions, and a creative approach to problem-solving * Excellent attention to detail and an ability to establish and meet deadlines/budgets * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Good interpersonal skills to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops and build relationships across Growth & Sales and Operations * Experience engaging and working with supply chain partners * Potential and drive to grow and develop within Jacobs' Growth & Sales team We're interested in your attributes and relevant practical experience, as opposed to prescribed levels of academic or professional qualification.
