Electronics Technician - St. Neots - salary up to £31,5000
Working for a world leader within the aerospace manufacturing industry the Electronics Technician will assemble and test products including electrical sub-assemblies. Duties:
Carry out assembly and product testing completing the relevant test documentation
Perform fault diagnostics on both final assemblies and lower levels, while working with engineers from the test and engineering departments.
Conduct root cause investigations, providing analysis and recommendations.
Analyze test data and generate test reports.
Ensure all test equipment is properly maintained and within calibration schedules.
Read engineering drawings and assemble products to quality requirements including sub-assemblies
Perform soldering to IPC standards.
Promote and support continuous improvements and assist with A3, 8D and other process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
A HNC or above in a relevant subject is required
Must have experience of working with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, multimeters, automated test equipment).
Experience of working within the Electronics Manufacturing industry is necessary
Must be able to work in a fast paced, varied, and demanding environment
Proficient in microsoft office applications
Good communication and teamworking skills are required
