Facilities Coordinator

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real‑estate management. We are recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator.
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the company’s buildings, services, and facilities. This role supports the Facilities Manager in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well‑presented work environment for all staff, clients, and visitors.
Responsibilities And Daily Activities
* Coordinate and oversee maintenance to ensure operational standards are met.
* Act as the main point of contact for all facilities‑related issues and queries.
* Manage supplier relationships, including scheduling and supervising contractors and service providers.
* Monitor building systems (e.g., HVAC, lighting, access control, fire safety) and report issues promptly.
* Support health & safety compliance, including conducting regular site inspections and maintaining documentation.
* Process facilities purchase orders and invoices, ensuring cost efficiency and budget control.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service contracts, and asset inventories.
* Assist with space planning, office moves, and workstation setups.
* Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner.
* Support sustainability initiatives and energy management projects.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or building coordination role.
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Working knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
* IT literate (Microsoft Office, CAFM systems).
Desirable Qualifications
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or working towards).
* Experience managing service contracts and suppliers.
* Knowledge of building systems or basic technical maintenance.
