Finance Assistant (AAT studier or planning to study later on in career)
Wokingham based - full time, 5 days per week in the office
25 days holiday, rising with experience, pension, health-care
Our client has seen an increased demand over the years for its wide range of products and are now seeking an enthusiastic Finance Assistant as the company seek to double in size this year. Reporting to the Finance Manager, and working alongside the experienced finance team of 8, you will be working within the heart of the finance team (a very collaborative and close-knit team who are set to grow in size more this year), so here we require a hands-on, collaborative Finance Assistant, ideally with some recent experience of being in a similar role in a busy and fast paced environment, who can demonstrate some recent all round finance skills, and ideally someone who can multi-task easily in a varied role that covers a few different entities within the Group.
Your role as the Finance Assistant, will be varied and will include:
* Processing invoices and receipts
* Responsible for payment runs - weekly, monthly and ad-hoc payments
* Supporting the Management Accountant with month-end tasks
* Data Entry & some reporting
* Bank Reconciliations - Reconciliation of Bank statement entries across multiple bank accounts and posting of cash entries on a daily basis
* Documentation & Filing - maintaining accurate and organised records, both digital and physical, of all financial documents
* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department as required, including answering queries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with other departments.
* Providing support to the Financial Manager & FD when required
As the Finance Assistant you will ideally be able to offer the following profile:
* Studying towards AAT or keen to commence AAT studies, or seeking to gain more finance experience
* Be able to offer some recent, similar experience, from within a similar growing SME organisation
* Be able to multi-task with ease
* Offer superb collaboration skills and be able to work with all stake-holders at all levels
This role comes with a super benefits package, including an annual 12% bonus (paid quarterly), pension, health-care, and long term career progression. Please note, this role is fully office based - superb modern offices, within easy reach of some public transport routes but ideally you would be a car driver and owner.

Desired Skills and Experience
Entry level, or 2 years+ of finance experience would be ideal.
