We are actively seeking an enthusiastic, commercially driven, and people-oriented General Manager to join our team and lead operations at the stunning Manor House. This is a unique opportunity to take on a rewarding leadership role in a truly beautiful setting. As we are both a wedding venue and a hotel, flexibility and a strong understanding of seasonal working patterns are absolutely essential. The right candidate will not only bring passion for hospitality and guest experience but also demonstrate the ability to manage a dynamic business, motivate a diverse team, and ensure that every event and stay exceeds expectations.

The job in a nutshell
* Take full accountability for day-to-day operations of the pub and restaurant
* Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing front and back-of-house team
* Deliver consistently outstanding service, food, and drink quality
* Drive revenue through events, promotions, and exceptional hospitality
* Oversee stock control, staffing, budgets, and compliance
* Build strong local relationships and maintain a loyal customer base
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience as a General Manager
* A confident leader with a hands-on approach and great communication skills
* Commercial awareness with the ability to maximise sales and control costs
* A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
* Experience managing food-led pubs or restaurants
* Sound knowledge of licensing, health & safety, and operational compliance
