Role
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the development and management of our enterprise solution portfolio. Reporting to the IT Director, this role will define architectural blueprints, assess technology trends, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You’ll be responsible for interpreting business needs, analysing current and future state architectures, and guiding governance and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Mapping current Master data and data flows
* Designing future-state solutions aligned with strategic goals
* Leading technology assessments and identifying areas for improvement
* Collaborating with internal teams and external partners
* Supporting the ERP replacement project and broader transformation initiatives
Location: Middlesbrough, 2 days in the office required
Salary: Up to £75,000
Benefits: Bonus up to 20%, car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package
Person
* You are a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills.
* You bring a blend of commercial awareness, technical expertise, and leadership capability.
* You’re comfortable navigating complex environments and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Essential qualifications and skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
* TOGAF certification or similar
* Proven experience in solution architecture and enterprise-level projects
* Strong understanding of integration, network, and security architecture
* Ability to work with outsourced development teams
* Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Valid UK driving licence
