(Lead) Civil Barristers Clerk, Liverpool
Salary range: depending on skills and experience, either Level 2 (Skilled) - £27,000 - £32,000 or Level 3 (Expert) - £32,000 - £45,000.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1-hour lunch)
Holidays: 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays (rising with length of service)

Our client is seeking a confident and competent barristers clerk, ideally with experience in clerking Civil Law practices, to join their Liverpool-based team. You will serve as a go-to clerk for Civil practice barristers, servicing a wide range of work and clients in Liverpool and surrounding areas, working collaboratively with the wider clerking teams across five sites to ensure a seamless clerking service.
At this level, candidates should have sound knowledge and competence in diary management and negotiation, preferably within civil law. The role follows a 5-step job family, guiding your development up to Senior Clerk. The ideal candidate will be a skilled or expert level clerk with the ability and ambition to provide excellent diary clerking services and engage in practice and business development in Liverpool and nearby areas. You will have opportunities to grow your knowledge and experience within a team of experienced clerks.
