4 days per week onsite in London (Travel to project sites required)

The Role
As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and plans using industry-standard software. You will play a key role in translating field data, sketches, and technical specifications into detailed 2D and 3D designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (eg, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
* Interpret field sketches, specifications, and technical data into precise designs
* Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers
* Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
* Maintain organised records of drawings and project documentation
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines
* Conduct quality checks to identify and resolve design errors
Required Skills & Experience
* Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
* Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills
* Experience within construction, manufacturing, or civil engineering sectors
* Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering
* Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools
* Basic knowledge of materials, construction, or manufacturing processes
* Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
