Key Responsibilities:
Leading the structural design of significant construction projects, with an emphasis on data centres
Collaborating closely with civil engineering teams to ensure cohesive project delivery
Preparing detailed structural designs and specifications
Reviewing and approving engineering drawings and documentation
Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Working with clients and stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements
Ensuring all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil engineering and structural design
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, particularly in the context of data centres
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
Professional engineering qualification is preferred
