One of my local authority clients based in Norfolk are on the lookout for an interim Housing Standards Officer to support their team.
Contract: 6 Months +
Rate: Negotiable DOE
Start Date: January
Hours: 37hrs per week
Day-to-day duties
1. Conduct HHSRS property inspections.
2. Carry out necessary enforcement actions on both CAT 1 & CAT 2 hazards in line with the Housing Act 2004.
3. HMO inspections and related licensing.
Additional duties / Responsibilities include
* Carrying out reactive complaints.
* HMO inspections and applications.
* Empty property complaints.
Must have
* HHSRS.
* Driving license.
