The ideal candidate will provide an efficient, effective and safe technical service to students and lecturers to support education and training. You will enhance classroom practice and learning activities by ensuring that facilities, equipment and materials are prepared to the highest standards in advance of curriculum delivery. Responsibilities Provide technical support and guidance to students and lecturers within the Ceramics and 3D Art curriculum areas Prepare materials, tools and equipment for practical demonstrations and student projects Maintain studio facilities and machinery to ensure a safe working environment in line with college policy Assist with the firing of kilns and the preparation of glazes or other specialized 3D materials Monitor stock levels and assist in the ordering of consumables and equipment Support the installation and display of student work for exhibitions and assessments Ensure all technical areas are kept clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety regulations Randstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
