Test Support Centre Engineer
Derby
37 Hours per week
Rolls‑Royce are looking for an experienced Test Support Centre Engineer to join the team in Derby on a full‑time permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
* Acting as a point of contact within your engineering discipline sharing subject‑matter expertise and providing advisory support across the team.
* Representing senior departmental staff and coaching others in areas where you hold technical authority.
* Managing defined technical packages and investigations delivering against programme milestones within agreed cost, time and quality parameters.
* Gathering and analysing data from engine testing activities to identify faults and root causes.
* Applying engineering judgement to interpret results and develop effective solutions.
* Leading the development and continuous improvement of tools, processes and methods within the engine test facility.
* Influencing stakeholders and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to drive change and innovation.
Who we are looking for:
Key Experiences and any Qualifications:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in a relevant domain (preferred but not essential).
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and fault diagnosis.
* A curious mindset and a drive to understand why things aren't working and how to fix them.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational and project management abilities.
* A collaborative approach and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Staff Grade SNBG 07‑10.
