You're adept at building complex financial models to support strategic pricing decisions and long- term planning while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, pricing and executive producers. With a proactive approach to data analysis, monitoring budgets and forecasts, you’ll help identify risks, prevent revenue loss, and ensure alignment with company objectives. Your ability to present clear, impactful insights to senior leadership and continuously improve revenue reporting will be key to propelling transparency, accountability, and top line performance. What you'll be doing: Be responsible for the calculation and in depth analysis of ARPU, monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic pricing decision-making, long-term planning and accountability for ARPU and subscription performance. Conduct in-depth analysis of key revenue metrics, trends, financial impact assessments and performance drivers, (including chargebacks and fraud incidences) presenting findings to senior leadership for strategic discussions. Provide ARPU and subscription numbers assumptions into the annual budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring alignment with company objectives and providing guidance to senior management. Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes and systems, enhancing transparency and accuracy in reporting. Develop and oversee implementation of risk controls to minimize fraud risk and ensure compliance with local and international gaming regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and responsible gaming policies. Develop and implement fraud detection and prevention strategies, including overseeing Fraud service providers, utilising data analytics and machine learning tools. Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and law enforcement when required, bringing best practice knowledge back to inform Jagex policy. Lead and mentor one fraud analyst, whilst collaborating with the wider finance team and business stakeholders, to develop educational programs on fraud prevention and revenue protection best practices. What we're looking for: Qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualification experience and strong technical accounting knowledge (ACA/CIMA preferred). Significant experience in financial planning & analysis in ideally in gaming sector or at least subscription based companies with a strong background in a PE-backed company or similar environment an advantage. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels across the organisation. Comprehensive expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights to drive business performance. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Proficiency in financial data tools such as Snowflake/ Sequel and advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills.
