Due to continued expansion of our established and highly successful clients business, we are actively seeking Class 1 drivers to join the team.
This role will involve driving Wagon & Drag vehicles and being part of a Trackway team installing and recovering mats.

Essential Functions
The flexibility to work as a HGV 1 Wagon & Drag driver and partner with the Trackway crew on installation and recovery operations throughout the UK which will involve working as a two/three-person crew including nights away in your truck (not sharing with others).
The successful applicant will be:

7. Able to maintain accurate paperwork/electronic records.
8. Ability to operate heavy equipment (crane) or willing to be trained.
9. Knowledge of hand tools.
10. Must be able to adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and rules.
11. Must have good interpersonal skills required to work in a team environment.
12. Ability to work a flexible schedule (day, night, occasional weekends).
13. Ability to assist with installing/removing mats.
14. Construction and Transmission & Distribution experience preferred.
15. Must be able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug/alcohol screen/physical.
16. Reliable and trustworthy, good timekeeper, able to use their own initiative and highly motivated.
Full training will be provided, with development opportunities and ability to progress within the company.
Requirements
17. Applicants must have a current HGV Class 1 licence.
18. CSCS card desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
19. Salary: Starting rate £17.00 per hour - 45 hours a week with overtime paid at time and a half.
