Hand Finisher / Parts Washer - Night Shift

We are looking for a Parts Washer/Hand Finisher, supporting the Night Shift reporting into the Operations Manager, to join the team. Find your future with us!
Role Overview
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
1. Ensuring parts are washed or hand finished to the correct standard
2. Working in line with production requirements and priorities
3. Visual inspection of parts for defects
4. Using computer systems to book completion of jobs.
5. Working safely with minimal supervision.
6. Ensure correct benching of components, including removal of sharp edges, cleaning of holes, use of orbital sanders, and hand de-burring to drawing and SOP requirements.
7. Ensure finishing of components to achieve ‘as drawn’ features
8. Part mark or ident product as per specifications/instructions provided as necessary
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
9. Previous experience in a parts wash or hand finish role, in a manufacturing environment, or, experience of cleaning to a required standard.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
10. Working knowledge of specifications, SOP’s and Work Instructions.
11. Relevant experience or an industry qualification demonstrating use of power/air tools and bench/fettle processes
12. Demonstration of basic numeracy to read measuring equipment
13. Attention to detail and diligence (right first time)
14. Work with minimum supervision following instruction
15. Initiative in time management and method
16. Significant levels of concentration required
17. Good verbal communicator
18. Versatility and flexibility to support job requirements.
