Project Manager (Fibre / Data) Location: Livingston, Central Belt Scotland Position: Site-Based We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Livingston, playing a key role in delivering exceptional fibre and data infrastructure projects. As a Project Manager, you will support the Operations team by managing day-to-day operational issues and overseeing the growth and development of your team. You’ll take responsibility for the management of several contracts, making time management, technical expertise, planning, and communication essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: * Manage multiple fibre and data-related projects simultaneously, ensuring all aspects are delivered on time and within budget. * Oversee contract commercial forecasting and procurement processes, including managing sub-contractors and materials in coordination with the procurement team. * Deliver project schedules, progress reports, and any necessary programme updates for clients. * Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and the company’s internal H&S Management System. * Lead regular meetings with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams, effectively managing time and delegating tasks. Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Project Manager role with proven career progression. * Experience managing multiple projects, ideally ranging from £50k to £2m. * Strong knowledge and experience in fibre and data project delivery. * Ability to programme projects at the tender stage and throughout, using Asta Power Project or MS Project. * Experience in fit-out projects is essential. * Strong understanding of design and build processes is an advantage. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations effectively. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to set objectives, develop people, and maintain a focus on high-quality service delivery. Desirable Skills & Qualifications: * Construction-related academic qualifications. * A relevant CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and Asbestos Awareness certification. * Full UK driving license and flexibility to work away from home if required. * IT literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel (intermediate), and Asta project planning software. * Flexibility in working hours to accommodate project demands.
