Your Responsibilities:
* Support the Health and Safety Manager on all site health and safety matters including fire, compliance, and operational risk
* Assist with duties relating to the Building Safety Act including Mandatory Occurrence Reporting and gathering evidence for building safety documentation
* Record and submit safety notifications within required timelines and ensure life safety system failures are properly captured
* Monitor statutory servicing, inspections, and maintenance to help keep the estate fully compliant
* Support audits, inspections, incident investigations, and accurate record keeping
* Use the internal compliance system to track actions, highlight risks, and maintain up to date compliance status
* Work closely with internal teams, safety specialists, and external authorities
* Provide guidance to colleagues and promote a positive, safe working culture across the community
Your Requirements:
* Experience working in health and safety or compliance within property, housing, facilities, or a similar environment
* Understanding of safety management systems and statutory compliance principles
* Working knowledge of fire safety and regulatory requirements
* Confident communicating with contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical information
* Computer literate with good organisational and presentation skills
* Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational setting
