Job DescriptionProject Coordinator

Location – West Northamptonshire

Salary - £33,700 per annum

Hours – Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM

Role Overview

An established and reputable organisation is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support the smooth delivery of complex operational projects. This individual will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and communication required to deliver projects efficiently, on time, and in line with client expectations. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

-Uphold the responsibilities of the Project Coordinator role in accordance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.

-Act as a company representative in external interactions, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

-Promote and embody the company’s values, culture, and reputation among all stakeholders including staff, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Project Coordination & Operational Support

-Assist designated riggers in managing day-to-day operational requirements for individual projects.

-Monitor and oversee business operations to align with company objectives and client expectations.

-Serve as a liaison between clients and the production team to ensure seamless operational delivery.

-Coordinate project activities to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.

-Ensure full compliance with all internal processes and standards.

-Maintain and strengthen customer relationships through consistent communication and service excellence.

Resource Management & Communication

-Work collaboratively with the operations team to coordinate allocation of crew, transport, equipment, and travel schedules across multiple projects.

-Identify and resolve issues within operational processes in a timely and effective manner.

-Follow standard operating procedures to ensure efficient business operations.

-Assess current operational performance and contribute insights for process improvement.

Documentation & Administrative Duties

-Maintain accurate records of project requirements, travel details, crew assignments, and other operational data within designated job folders.

-Undertake relevant training and development to support performance in the role.

-Participate in the operations on-call rota, providing weekend cover as required.

The ideal candidate will have…

-Strong Organisational Skills: Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

-Prioritisation Abilities: Effective at managing workload and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

-Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for both internal and external engagement.

-Technical Proficiency: Confident with IT systems including Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and asset tracking platforms.

-Administrative Background: Experience in administrative or operational coordination roles, preferably within a technical or production-focused setting.

-Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in handling project details and documentation.
