The Role
As a Trainee Senior Conductor, you will play a key role in the safe and smooth running of our service, assisting passengers with enquiries or problems, checking and issuing tickets, and ensuring the safety of the crew and customers.
Applicants should have experience in cash handling within a customer service or retail environment. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, possess excellent communication skills, and remain calm in all situations. You must be willing to work on a shift basis Monday to Saturday, with Sunday shifts as scheduled. Own transport is advisable due to shift start and end times.

About West Midlands Trains
We operate two railway brands serving the Midlands, Northwest, and London.
In the Midlands, West Midlands Railway offers local services centered around Birmingham, connecting to towns and cities such as Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester, Hereford, Shrewsbury, Telford, and Northampton. London Northwestern Railway covers the London to Liverpool route, stopping at Birmingham, Milton Keynes, and Northampton, with Birmingham at its core.

1. Stage 1: Submit a strong online application and upload your CV.

Applications
