Account Manager – North America - £40k - £45k plus uncapped commission
UK-based | Hybrid – 2 days office – Core working hours – 9am – 5.30pm (some flexibility required)
A leading global provider of digital research solutions is seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen relationships across key academic markets, Universities etc, in North America.
This is an exciting UK-based role supporting a major overseas territory. You will develop and own the sales strategy for the region, identifying new opportunities and nurturing and growing existing relationships with academic library customers.
Travel: You will travel to the US around four times a year, with each trip lasting approximately two weeks, and work flexibly to support different time zones.
What/who we are looking for:
Proven track record in sales (education or US experience a bonus, but open to all sectors)
Skilled in negotiating large and complex deals
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills suited to academic institutions
Strong commercial awareness and a consultative sales approach
Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
