Hays are working with a large organisation within Telford who are looking for a Goods in Administrator to manage the flow of materials, stock, and inventory within the organisation’s Stores and Logistics function. This position ensures that goods are accurately received, controlled, and dispatched in alignment with operational requirements and thepany’s Quality Management System (QMS). The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational capability, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
Your new role
1. Goods Inwards
2. Verify accuracy of iing items, quantities, and documentation against purchase orders and supplier delivery notes.
3. Book all materials into stock using the Sage 200 Manufacturing system.
4. Allocate goods to correct storage locations.
5. Liaise with suppliers regarding queries, discrepancies, or delivery issues.
6. Manage and maintain physical stock within the designated stores area.
7. Prepare and marshal kits, spare parts, and assemblies, ensuring production requirements are met.
8. Update marshalling status in thepany Information Management System.
9. Record stock movements, adjustments, and location changes.
10. Assign new stock codes and storage locations as required.
11. Monitor Kanban stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
12. Manage stock overflow and ensure orderly storage.
13. Participate in Quality Audits relating to stores activities.
14. Uphold high standards of housekeeping and ensurepliance with Health & Safety requirements.
15. Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery inaccuracies.
16. Conduct routine stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy.
17. Goods Outwards
18. Assist with the packing and preparation of spare parts and equipment for shipment.
19. Provide additional support to the logistics function during peak periods or increased workload.
What you'll need to succeed

23. Proficient in Microsoft applications (, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Desirable
24. Experience using Sage 50, Sage 200, orparable inventory.
25. Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or materials management environments.
