This nationally recognised specialist school in Crawley is seeking a Teacher to join their committed and welcoming team. The school supports 250 pupils with complex needs including Autism, SEMH, ADHD and physical disabilities. The curriculum is broad, creative, balanced and outdoors-friendly and includes Enterprise and Vocational elements, Independent Life & Living Skills, College link courses and a progressive Careers programme.
The school offers a respectful environment that treats every child as an individual. The role is full-time, permanent (40 hours per week) with a term-time only schedule and ASAP start (notice periods considered).
Responsibilities
* Lead and plan lessons for a class of approximately 6-10 pupils on a daily basis.
* Work as part of a passionate and dedicated team to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
* Contribute to training and development efforts designed to support staff and pupils.
Qualifications
* Teaching Qualification (UK QTS).
* Relevant UK-based teaching experience.
* Must have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
