The Events Manager will support the strategic initiatives and objectives of the M&E department, as well as supervising day to day operations. All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel-specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel. You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness.
As Events Manager you'll be the backbone of the team as you'll be working with your Head of Department to inspire and motivate your colleagues, ensuring that all guests have memorable experiences with us. Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role! We set high standards for ourselves to surprise and delight our guests, so you'll need to be passionately involved in the M&E department's smooth running.
If you're our ideal Events Manager, you will:
* Be a vibrant host for guests and an expert in recognising their needs
* Have great communication skills- it's important to establish relationships with organisers!
* Coach and train new team members- we want everyone to enjoy their new role
* Undertake Duty Manager shifts as required- this is a great way to get out and about in the hotel and meet new people
* Have prior experience using Audio-Visual (AV)
