We’re looking for an experienced Implementation Manager to lead a team of consultants who deliver IRIS payroll and HR solutions to new customers. You’ll play a key part in shaping the success of both your team and the wider business.



About the Team You'll Join


You’ll manage a team of six Implementation Consultants. You’ll work closely with other Implementation Managers, our Senior Manager for Professional Services, Product teams, Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Managed Services Operations.


It’s a collaborative group that shares ideas, supports each other, and works together to deliver great outcomes for customers.



What You'll Be Doing


Lead and Support Your Team


* Guide consultants through their day-to-day delivery
* Hold regular check-ins and quarterly reviews
* Coach and develop their skills in both product and customer delivery
* Create a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture
* Manage resource planning to ensure strong utilisation


Deliver Successful Implementations


* Ensure every customer receives a smooth, structured onboarding
* Maintain high standards and consistency across all implementations
* Support consultants with escalations, tricky projects, or customer issues
* Work with Professional Services colleagues to keep projects on time and on budget


Work Across the Business


* Share insights with Product and help shape product improvements
* Support Sales with orders and pipeline activity
* Collaborate with Bureau teams to hand over payrolls once implemented
* Keep processes aligned across all Implementation Managers


Improve and Evolve How We Work


* Review and refine implementation processes
* Help the team adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working
* Contribute to integration and alignment when IRIS acquires new businesses
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue, and service quality



What We’re Looking For


We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead people, manage delivery, and bring structure and positivity to a busy team environment.


You’ll be a great fit if you have:


* Proven experience managing a team
* Strong background in software implementation, payroll, HR, or Professional Services
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A calm, organised approach to managing work and supporting others
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* The confidence to influence, motivate, and guide consultants
* The ability to work well with many different teams and stakeholders
* Experience with IRIS products (an advantage, not essential)
* Qualifications such as team leadership, training, technical, or software-related certifications are welcome but not required.
