We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician / Engineer to join our manufacturing team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our machinery and supporting equipment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician / Engineer, you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance across the site, including:
* Developing and delivering Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
* Carrying out predictive maintenance using Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime
* Maintaining accurate service records, logs, and calibration documentation
* Working with OEMs and external contractors for specialist repairs
* Implementing 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices
* Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Supporting production teams during breakdowns to minimise disruption
* Ensuring full compliance with PUWER, LOLER, and EHS regulations
* Managing spares, technical documentation, and equipment manuals
* Training operators on daily checks and basic maintenance tasks

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
* A proactive, “can-do” attitude with flexibility and adaptability
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:
* Experience maintaining CNC or automated machinery (Punch / Press Brake)
* Knowledge of TPM, PPM systems, and CMMS software
* Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
* Good PC skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
