Job Description
* Lead and manage the audit and accounts department, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Provide strategic direction and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Review and approve financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Identify opportunities for business development and growth within the department.
* Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the practice remains compliant and competitive.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts & Audit Director should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA).
* Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Outstanding strategic planning abilities.
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
