Key Duties
* Mild steel MIG welding for the manufacture of excavator attachments brackets.
* Occasional repairs to hire fleet and customer excavator attachments.
* Excavator bucket repairs.
* Some workshop machining (Lathe, bandsaw and pillar drill).
* Keep the workshop area allocated to the job function in a clean and tidy condition.
* Ensure that the Company health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Key Competencies
* Experienced welder. Coded welder preferable.
* Gas cutting experience required.
* 5 years+ experience.
* Competency using lathes.
* Experience in heavy gauge fabrication.
* Bucket repair experience preferred.
* Forklift truck trained.
* Attention to detail.
* Able to work under own initiative but also a team player.
